About

Made by one Nepali engineer
who got tired of the spreadsheet.

The story

I started investing in NEPSE in 2020. Like most retail investors I kept a Google Sheet, juggled three apps for prices, and re-typed numbers into yet another tool to compute capital gains tax before selling.

Every part of that workflow was painful, brittle, and easy to get wrong. In late 2024 I decided to build the app I wished existed. Punji is the result — opinionated about doing the boring parts, so the human can focus on the trading.

I reply to every email from [email protected], and the roadmap is genuinely shaped by what users send.

Mission

Make Nepali retail investors better-informed than the institutions on the other side of their trades.

Values

What we refuse to compromise on.

  1. 01

    Honest defaults

If a feature would tempt you into a worse decision, we don’t ship it. Punji surfaces what helps you make a calmer call — not a flashier one.

  2. 02

    No data theatre

Holdings stay private to your account. Quantities, prices and totals are never sent to analytics. Your trades are not the product.

  3. 03

    Plain English

Every number is labelled, every fee is itemised, every assumption is on screen. No "trust us, it works" — the math is visible.
